Lucy O’Brien’s updated “Dusty” is out on August 22nd. It is beautifully repackaged in a brand new cover, with new chapters covering the years since Dusty’s passing, and her legacy.
This was the first biography of Dusty, and is the second updated edition. The thread of the story is essentially the same, but test has been altered throughout. It makes a great read.
All biogs seem to have errors and this one is no exception (I am captioned as “manager” in one pic, but the publisher will be altering the errors in future editions.
To launch the book there will be two dates of conversation and music at the Wanstead Tap on October 3rd and 4th (see below). Lucy will be doing an In Conversation and book signing both nights, and then Janette Mason and David McAlmont will be performing a short set.
The actual launch will be at The Rock N Roll Book Club at the Dublin Castle on Sept 4th - Q&A, plus book signing and Dusty songs played by DJ Tony Gleed (Bugbear).
