Today we received the letter from Prof. Ian Smith, thanlking us fo the money raised at Dusty Day 2018.

Krissie DuCann, who appeared at the last 2 Dusty Days, is donating sales from her book to Dusty Day. Krissie has an incredible story to tell.
This Is Me costs just £6 and all of it will go to the Royal Marsden in the name of Dusty Day.

Dusty Day 2018 has raised a total of £4,680 for the Royal Marsden Hospital. It’s slightly down on last year’s £4,700 but it’s a great achievement and I didn’t expect it to be as much.

Everything is set for Dusty Day 2018 on Sunday. Doors open at 13:00.
Please be aware that, as previously announced, there is no BBQ this year but, the venue will allow you to bring in a takeaway to eat on the premises, but no drinks, after all, they are generous enough to give us the venue at no cost.
Only drinks bought on the premises can be consumed.

Auction items for Dusty Day
As you must realise items once belonging to Dusty are becoming scarce, but Pat has found another gem; an black crepe shirt/jacket that she estimates is from the 60s, possibly 70s.
In addition we will be auctioning a replica of the plaque erected outside Dusty’s former home in Aubrey Walk. This was originally auctioned on the day of the unveiling and bought by Robert Raveil for in excess of £800. In a generous gesture, Robert has donated the framed plaque & picture to Dusty Day to be auctioned again.
We also have a collection of original press prints from the 60 through to the 80s which will be either auctioned or sold individually, hopefully enabling everyone to have a chance of going home with some Dusty memorabilia.
